Sep Makhsous
ARC lab Director

Dr. Sep Makhsous is an Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Washington's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Director of ARC Lab. Holding a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an MBA in Technology Commercialization, he combines expertise in robotics, control systems, and AI-driven education with entrepreneurial experience through startups and technology transfer. Prof. Makhsous focuses on advancing autonomy, robotics, and connectivity while fostering innovation, inclusivity, and hands-on learning to prepare the next generation of engineers.
